Zoo Closed for the season

Though the Hansen-creatures are all doing quite well, this zoo is closed for a season. To those of you who check here once in a while and care to know why:

1)Its more of a burden ("That blog I rarely update") than fun.

2)I need to find a better/simpler/faster way to edit offline (esp w/ pictures) and then upload, because I don't have the net at home and thus for the small time I am online (as of 10/06) -current processes take too much time.

3)I don't think very many of my friends and family (=people who'd be intersted in this blog) are either geeky enough to read blogs, or really care to...so who is it for? Well, this is probably more true for family than friends, but I haven't really told folks about it --see #1 for why.

4)I'm involved with too many blogs and podcasts and need to simplify things.

5)If you do want to see pix of Zinnia and the Hansen family, or hear updated news, please still email us at gmail (zinniazoo@ is the name, but I don't want to type it in full for fear of spam bots!)

Thanks for those who have peeked occasionally, and maybe a family blog/picture album will start up again in the future when the need and ease-of-creation arises.
